Renault Kiger 2022 represents a very strong personality with its resolutely modern dynamic design, generously spacious modern interiors and a host of never-before-seen features. With a choice of two engines and transmission, it has everything it needs to appeal to Indian customers looking for a new and original compact SUV.
Initially developed for India, the Kiger will reach other international markets such as Africa in a second phase, as assured by Renault. Derived from the Kwid, the Renault Kiger reached an industrial milestone by completing 50,000 units produced at the company's plant in Chennai, India. This SUV, launched in February 2022 and sold only in India, South Africa and Southeast Asia, has achieved great success thanks to a very favorable cost/benefit proportion for the parameters of that market.

Therefore, India was among the top five countries where Renault sells the most in the world. It is also one of the cheapest SUVs in the world: its entry-level version costs 599,000 rupees, just over $33 million Colombian pesos USD $ 6,588.77.
Features
The entry models have a 1.0 liter three-cylinder aspirated engine (72 hp/95 Nm), with five-speed manual and automated gearboxes; and a Turbo engine of the same cubic capacity, with 100 hp and 160 Nm, linked to a CVT automatic gearbox. After all, it is clear that the Kiger will remain a model exclusive to the Indian, South African and Southeast Asian markets, just like the Triber minivan.
